Guest Blog: Bookkeeping Help for Small Businesses

First, I would like to say a big thank you to Raven for allowing me to guest post on her blog. I appreciate the opportunity.

Allow me to introduce myself – my name is Kerry Postel and I am the C.E.O. of Abacus Bookkeeping, LLC and I just love bookkeeping!! It is one of those things that I really enjoy doing and I get great satisfaction from doing what I do on a day-to-day basis. My background is all in bookkeeping, I have over 16 years experience and I am a certified Professional Bookkeeper.

Bookkeeping is one of those essential elements of a business. Unfortunately bookkeeping is the one thing that is frequently pushed to the bottom of the pile. Bookkeeping is not everyone’s favorite thing – I understand that – but it is still important. Bookkeeping is the only part of the business that can tell you if you are successful and whether you are making money or not. Just because you have money in the bank does not mean that you are making money. No other part of the business can give you this information. So, why would you neglect this part of the business?
